This site was created to give:
We are being transparent by publishing all feedback and comments captured on this website.
We are using all our channels to reach as many people as we can and gather as much information as possible. The more people who engage, the better informed we’ll be.
This website was created by the Council’s Web team, our City Growth & Partnerships team, and in partnership with local digital agency Plastic Studio. This website reuses the base technology that Council invested in during the creation of the wellingtonnz.com website in 2014 and again in our10yearplan.co.nz (both in partnership with local award-winning design agency DNA), and for newjohnsonvillelibrary.co.nz, cycleways.org.nz and planningoursuburbs.org.nz.
This website is built on Silverstripe (version 3.3.2). This is the same content management system (CMS) recommended and used by the Government’s Common Web Platform (CWP). This consultation platform has been made available for anyone to use on GitHub.
The informal feedback forms were created using Typeform. Mapbox was used for the maps, and chart.js is used to create the pie charts. All of these products and services were integrated into Silverstripe using APIs.
Like all websites, this one is constantly evolving and more information will be added as the redevelopment of the Basin Reserve gets under way.
